Draft Lottery
The 14 teams that miss the playoffs participate in a lottery to determine picks 1-4. The remaining lottery teams pick in inverse order of their regular season record.
Lottery System
14 ping-pong balls create 1,001 combinations. The three teams with the worst records each have a 14% chance at the #1 pick. The lottery determines the top 4 picks.
Did You Know?
No team can fall more than 4 spots from their pre-lottery position, meaning the worst team cannot pick later than 5th overall.
